Preparing the Lens

Generation

When our lenses are pulled from our warehouse, the front side of the lens is already endowed with the optical capability required to provide our customers with improved vision. The back part of our lens still needs to be produced. To prepare our lenses, we must use a CNC machine that adequately shapes the lens and fulfills the prescription parameters. Essentially, the lens is contorted so they can be given a standard shape. Following this step over 9,000 tiny little machining points are set in place so that optical technicians can add the prescription.

Refining the Lens

Our lens needs to be polished and refined before they can be released to our clients. The polishing process smooths and glosses the lens, which is imperative because a clean surface is needed so that the protective coating is not detached from the lenses.

Lens Are Cleaned

Our prescriptive lenses are carefully removed from our machinery and cleaned with precision tools. Final Coating
